I. ABOUT THIS NOTICE

If you are a visitor or user who resides in the state of California (“consumers” or “you”) and access this website (the “Site”), this California Notice at Collection (“Notice”) supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy. We adopt this Notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA), and its implementing regulations. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

II. HOW DOES INSMED COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES IT COLLECT?

Insmed collects Personal Information:

  • When you actively provide it to us. For example, we may collect your Personal Information when you provide information required to register, apply, or participate in an Insmed program, submit a completed online form, engage with use to obtain products or services. respond to a request for information, sign up to receive communications from us, or send us an email or letter.
  • Indirectly from our Service Providers and Third Parties with whom you intentionally interact. For example, through observation of your actions on our Site via a data analytics provider.

III. OUR BUSINESS PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION; HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION

We use the Personal Information we collect from you, including Sensitive Personal Information, for the following business purposes:

  • To communicate with you, including in response to your inquiries and to fulfill your requests.
  • To provide you with information about our products and services, and to provide you with our products and services.
  • To improve the content of the Site, including customizing the Site to your preferences.
  • For our data analysis, product development, advertising, marketing, and research purposes. This may include the use or development of automated tools and processes. For more information, please see the section on Profiling contained in our Privacy Policy.
  • To prevent fraud, including by confirming your identity.
  • To maintain and upgrade the security of any data or information collected.
  • For risk management and compliance purposes, including to comply with law enforcement and other legal processes.

We will retain your Personal Information, including your Sensitive Personal Information, as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and for no longer than is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

I agree that Insmed may collect, use, and process my Health Information, as listed below, to provide me with information, resources, and other communications about current and future clinical trials:

  • Health conditions, treatments, diseases, or diagnosis;
  • Diagnoses or diagnostic testing;
  • Data that identify me as a consumer seeking health care services; and
  • Health-related data that have been derived or inferred from the above collectively “Health Information.”

I understand that I am not required to consent to collection, use, and processing of my Health Information for these purposes. However, if I do not consent, I will not be able to sign up, as collection, use, and processing of my Health Information is necessary for Insmed to provide these services to me.
